'what i want' is the latest offering from Ayrshire based Electronic Producer Bluewave, which sees him (Daniel Beattie, 25) collaborate with Kilmarnock’s newest prospect Dio Zelus, (Dionne Aird, 22). The duo co-wrote and produced a hook filled medley of Lo-Fi Pop, Funk and R&B. 'what i want' was self-recorded and produced between Bluewave’s home studio and Ayrshire College’s Studio G54.

Influenced greatly by women of the music industry, or a lack of, Dio Zelus is driven by the history of gender inequality, and is determined to make her mark on the music industry. Lyrically, 'what i want' reflects on Dio Zelus’ personal experiences when surrounded by intolerable people that have no self-awareness, and her tongue-in-cheek vocals are captured with her effortlessly, laid back performance.
